As you know by now if you follow my blog, I love pink, black and white cards! And Stampin’ Up!’s Melon Mambo, Basic Black and Whisper White colors are one of my all time favorite combinations! You can see other cards I’ve made with this combination of colors here and here! For today’s card I returned to a template that I’ve used before that makes it so easy to create a card with just a few pieces.
WOW…doesn’t it just pop off the page! The Pop of Pink specialty DSP is my favorite paper this year (well, I also love the Floral Boutique which uses Night of Navy and Whisper White. Oh and the Party Animal…and, well I love them all!). Even if you’re not a Melon Mambo-bright pink kinda person, the reverse side has some great Black & White prints that will work with lots of other cards (see my card tomorrow for an example!). That’s what I love about Stampin’ Up!’s DSP, the prints on each side are versatile enough for many different uses. If you don’t like the print on the one side, turn it over and you have a whole other set of options!
Another one of my favorites in this yea is the Stitched Shapes framelits dies! I use them on almost all of my cards. They add such a beautiful finish to a plain piece of cardstock with so little effort!
Here’s the supplies I used with this card:
Thanks for stopping by to see my first card in the “Brights” thank you series.
