The Watercolor Wishes card kit has a fantastic assortment of wonderful greetings that you can use long after you make all the cards from the kit. And that’s exactly what I did with today’s card. I love the “happiest birthday wishes” greeting and have used it on many cards. It says so much in such a simple saying! I made today’s card a feminine one, but it still uses the Go Wild DSP paper stack papers along with the Sale-a-bration Carried Away DSP. The hot air balloons also look like birthday balloons!
The Watermelon Wonder balloon paper seemed to fade into my Whisper White card base, so I added a thin frame of Basic Black to frame it and coordinate with the frame under the Go Wild DSP pieces. After I punched the balloons with my Balloon Bouquet punch, I used the Confetti embossing folder to add the party details to the white balloon. I tied the balloons with thick white twine and added a premed bow from the Cupcakes & Carousels embellishment kit. It was on sale, but I thinks it’s sold out. But you can get the Bow Builder punch to create a similar bow. I added a enameled star for the festivities.
