Under my Umbrella-FMS424

March 1, 2020 Leave a Comment

I needed a quick, cheery card on a dreary, but warm Sunday afternoon. The FMS424 challenge template was the perfect solution.  Using my “Under My Umbrella” stamp set, the Umbrella Builder punch and the matching “Pleased as Punch” DSP made it easy.

I started with a Daffodil card base, added a Whisper White layer die cut with the largest Stitched Rectangle dies. My banner is the raindrops from the Pleased as Punch DSP with a Daffodil Delight layer underneath. And I punched the umbrella from the other side of the raindrops DSP. I added a punched circle, then stamped sunshine rays from the retired Hello Love stamp set. The sun and umbrella are popped up with dimensionals and the umbrella handle was stamped, punched out and adhere underneath. I thought the “rain or shine” greeting fit the card to a “T”!

On the inside, I used the next-to-largest Stitched Rectangle die to cut another Whisper White layer. I stamped another of the Under my Umbrella greetings inside.

That’s it for this Sunday, I just wanted to pop in for a minute to show you this card. Tomorrow, I have a cute “get well” card I had to make for my goalie soccer star granddaughter. She got hit with the soccer ball last week during a game and has a concussion. I thought that only happened in football games, but I guess not.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you found some time this weekend to get crafty!

Thanks Cecile for the kind comments. I fell in love with this DSP and stamp set. It’s so cheery, especially on these gloomy days we’ve been having!
