Now that the holidays are long over, what are you doing with all your Christmas and holiday crafting supplies? Did you see my post yesterday? Take a look at my cards before you give or put your DSP away!
As I said yesterday, our Holiday DSPs are 2-sided and have great, non-holiday prints on them. So go turn over your Christmas DSPs and look at the prints on the “back” side. WOW, it’s amazing how many of them you can use for your projects in the coming months!
My favorite Christmas DSP this year was the Sweet Stockings with all the cats and dogs. But when I flip the paper, I got some fun, generic DSP papers that I can use on birthday, thank you, and even Valentine’s Day cards! I’d call that a bonus. Here’s a quick look at the non-holiday sides you can use for your cards.
Now, look at these darling get-well cards I created with my Sweet Stockings DSP! I fussy cut the cats and dog out since my family has dogs and cats.
I loved these cards so much I created birthday cards for my twin sisters. One has cats, the other dogs. Same layouts, just different prints, and animals! I cut the reindeer antlers off the cat since it wasn’t a Christmas cat anymore! I’m late in posting these, and I love them! I think my sisters also enjoyed them (their birthday is in January, as is mine).
I hope that I have inspired you to take another look at your Christmas or any of your themed DSPs. Then have a fun time creating new cards!! Don’t forget, Sale-a-bration still going on through February 28!
