Saturday was my dad’s 89th birthday (see his special card here) and my husband’s brother’s 65th birthday. Glad it’s him and not me (ha-ha, but not far behind!). I made this card for one of last years SGGW weekend challenges and I’ve been saving it for a special birthday. I figured a 65th birthday was special enough – LOL.
I was waiting for a large number stamp set or die to add the birthday numbers. So I was excited to finally have the Large number framelits to finish this special card! I decided to just cut the numbers out of matching cardstock rather than stamp it onto the card. Made for a more dramatic effect for a milestone birthday.
It was great to have my brother-in-law and his wife join us for a special birthday celebration dinner. They just retired and moved back to Texas so we are all in the same state making visiting so much easier!
