Sympathy cards, a special card for a sad occasion - Janice Baranowski

It’s not something most of us like to think about, but we all need a sympathy card at some point in time. I have a hard time creating one on the spot when I need it most. So I’m always looking for new templates and ideas to use to create cards I can keep on hand. A couple of weeks ago Connie Stewart-Simply Simple Stamping shared this card. I thought would make a great template for a fast sympathy card or any other last minute card I needed. I didn’t have the stamp set she used, so I was looked through all my stamp sets (boy does that take time-LOL). I found my By The Tide stamp set I got when it first came out because I love the beach and it’s calming effect on me. After I bought the set, we sold our beach house and I couldn’t find an occasion to use this set. But as I looked at the coral stamp I realized it reminded me of the beach, gently rolling waves, and the calming effect is always has on me. What a great stamp to use on my sympathy card.
