You’re probably asking, how many cards are you going to make?? I was wondering that myself, but the ideas just keep coming. Today’s cards were inspired by yesterday’s design. This time I left the card intact, but I cut off the right half vertically and set it aside for the second card. Here’s the left half of the paper pumpkin card.
I cut a strip of Old Olive and used the new Stitched Labels framelits to created the stitched look which I adhered under the flowers. Then I cut a 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ piece of Gorgeous Grape and adhered it to the front back. I created the greeting frames with the two largest Stitched Shapes oval framelits (I used a piece of a leftover card back from one of the other cards I cut apart). I stamped the greeting with the Gorgeous Grape ink, then added 1/2 of the new Pearlized Doilies. Inside is the regular card base from the original card and I stamped a few of the hearts with the Gorgeous Grape ink.
Then for my second card, I used Old Olive for the card base dry embossed with my favorite Subtle TIEF. I added the leftover right half of the above card with a Daffodil Delight band embossed with the cross stitch design underneath it. The label is also from that framelits set with an Old Olive circle die cut with the Stitched Shapes framelits. The greeting is from the Flourishing Phrases stamp set. A bit of the twine and a few Artisan Pearls for bling and the card was done.
Here’s the supplies I used (other than my August Paper Pumpkin kit) for these two cards.
Thanks for stopping by. One more day of cards from my August Paper Pumpkin kit and I’m done – whew! Are you enjoying the new Holiday catalog??
