Stampin’ Up! Day of Service tomorrow – craft with me live!

May 20, 2020 Leave a Comment

Stampin’ Up! Day of Service will be Thursday, May 21! With current social distancing practices, employees are participating in Day of Service virtually, which provides us the opportunity to include demonstrators and customers in Stampin’ Up!’s service activity. For this year’s Day of Service, Stampin’ Up! will use the Share Sunshine PDF Download to make and send cards to loved ones, frontline workers, etc. As part of their Day of Service, they will provide each employee with the Share Sunshine PDF Download and will contribute $12 USD per employee to the COVID-19 response funds, as part of our COVID-19 giveback, resulting in a company donation of $5,820 USD for Day of Service!

I invite you to participate with me and join the fun! Stampin’ Up! employees, demonstrators (me!), and customers (you!) will be gathering virtually for the Day of Service craft party on Thursday, May 21 at 3:00 PM (CT) to make our cards together in a Facebook Live on Sara’s CEO Facebook page. If you are unable to participate in the live craft party, the replay will be available to view any time on Sara’s Facebook page.

To follow along during the live craft party, you will need to precut your card bases, Designer Series Paper, a printed copy of the Share Sunshine PDF Download (which can be purchased here for only $12, be sure to decide which greetings and precut those too), embellishments, adhesive, and scissors or a Paper Trimmer. To make it easy for everyone to participate, Stampin’ Up! created an instruction sheet for Sara’s four-step cards, which includes a cut map for your Designer Series Paper (any Designer Series Paper will work). Note: A full package of 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper will be enough to make four kits (20 cards). You can find the instruction sheet here.

And here’s Sara talking about the cards we’ll be making!

And here’s her short FB Live showing you how to cut the paper, if you need visual guidance.

I encourage you to pre-cut your card bases and Designer Series Paper (remember any DSP you have will work!). Then join me tomorrow at 3 PM and be prepared create some fun cards! Need help in getting it ready? Email me and we can talk!

So happy stamping and creating some fun cards to give away! Thanks and “see” you tomorrow at 1:00 PM on Sara’s CEO Facebook page!
