Another card today for the FMS327 challenge. It’s a very simple template and all kinds of ideas came to mind when I saw this week’s challenge.
I’m using another of the Delightful Daisy DSP patterns I’ve had out on my craft table just waiting to use it on a card.
I started with a Tranquil Tide card base and layered on just the DSP. But as I stepped back to look at it, the DSP didn’t stand out. So I cut a Whisper White underlay, trimmed the DSP down slightly and it looks so much crisper. Next up, trying to find the perfect saying and accent. I tried several of the DSP patterns in the circle, but they were also Tranquil Tide and Whisper White and they just didn’t stand out. So I flipped one of them over and saw the daisy flower pattern, although it is hard to tell that’s what it is, and used it instead. I tried several colors underneath it and finally decided on the white. My tag uses several word stamps from the Sale-a-bration Amazing You stamp set and punched with the new Pretty Label punch. Of course it needed some bling so I added tiny pearls and a gold metallic thread bow (leftover from last year’s catalog, love this stuff!). I popped the scalloped circles and the message tag up on dimensionals for an added visual effect.
Here’s what I used to make this card:
Thanks for stopping by today. Now, what should I make next? Easter treat bags and boxes…hmmm…that sounds like an interesting idea! Stop by later this week to see what I decide to do.

Tranquil Tide is such a pretty color, and you’ve used it beautifully here. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!
