Fall colors are so warm, soothing and they make a great card for either a I’m thinking of you card, a sympathy card or to cheer someone up. This week’s MOJO469 template was a great one to showcase the retired Retro Fresh DSP and all it’s wonderful patterns and fall colors. I finished the card Monday night and got it ready to post Tuesday morning.
Then Tuesday morning I woke up really early (like 4:30 am! UGH, I am not a morning person!) and the thought came to me that I had forgotten to add the little embellishment at the top that was on the MOJO469 template…so I got up, went up to my craft room and popped it on. I’m surprised how much better it looks with just that one added detail!
I love how Stampin’ Up! designer series papers make it so easy to mix and match the papers within a set to create an interesting and artsy montage of color. In fact, I was so inspired by the template and my paper selections, I created another card and finished it last night! Come back tomorrow to see that one!
