Did you know that today is “Random Acts of Kindness” day? In most places, Random Acts of Kindness Day is observed on February 17th each year. I’m celebrating random acts of kindness with handmade cards.
The purpose of Random Acts of Kindness Day is to spread kindness and positivity and to encourage people to think about how they can make the world a better place. Everyone is encouraged to perform random acts of kindness. These acts don’t have to be big, and they can take many forms. Offering a kind word or compliment, or sending a handmade card, or performing a small act of service or assistance to a stranger can all be an RAK.
Handmade cards can be a Random Act of Kindness
As a card crafter, I consider handmade cards special. I put my heart and soul into each card I create and love sharing them with others. You never know what someone is dealing with on the day they receive the card. It can be a “thinking of you” card that brings a smile, makes them think of friends, or comforts their hearts of lost loved ones.
What about a “Thank You” card for something someone has done recently. Like your mail carrier who delivers your mail each day. Or the cashier at your grocery store, favorite shop or hair salon? What about that medical professional who has helped you or someone in your family recently. The list is never-ending. Think outside the box on this “random acts of kindness” day. Make a number of simple cards that you carry with you wherever you go and hand them out. You never know who may need that special handmade card.
How do your share your handmade cards? Tell me so I can celebrate you.
Thanks for stopping by today. If you don’t have a demonstrator, I’d love to be yours. Just hop over to my site to shop. Hugs to all of you, and happy stamping!
