All last week I shared my cards made using the Pick 6 template. But I have a number of leftover 3/4″ x 3-1/2″ pieces of the DSP. I can’t let them go into the trash bin, can I? Of course not! Here are the two cards I made with them and I’m sure you can come up with even more creations with yours!
On my first card, I used a Night of Navy card base and cut 3 of the bands in half. I mixed them up so that each were different. For the greeting tag, I die cut two scalloped Layering Squares. I adhered the biggest one directly to the card. On the smaller one, I stamped my “Here’s a Card” greeting in Night of Navy, then popped it up with dimensionals.
On my second card, I switched to a Very Vanilla card base and used 3 of the strips without cutting them. Another larger scalloped Layering Square die with the same birthday greeting. This tag is popped up on dimensional and I added a Night of Navy velvet ribbon knot.
Similar looks with just a few leftover pieces of my DSP! All in all, I made 14 cards using this template – amazing, right! Now I’m going through my DSP scraps from previous projects to find more small strips to create similar cards! Here’s a final look at the Pick 6 template I’ve been using to make my cards.
