I love it when other Stampin’ Up! demo’s blogs I follow post a card that sparks all kinds of ideas for me! One of my favorite ladies, Angie Juda at Chic n Scratch showcased her “One Sheet Wonder” this past week which makes a whole set of Christmas cards. Since I’m working on my Stamp A Stack Christmas card classes, I drawn to the challenge to create my own!
I spent Friday afternoon playing around with the new “Home for Christmas” DSP trying different options and layouts but I kept coming back to the Mossy Meadow mistletoe paper and the Poinsettia paper. In the end, I went with two different layout because I wanted to use two of my favorite retired stamp set sayings. The Joyful Christmas greeting needed more room than the portrait layout had, so I rotated it and it worked! I stamped the greetings in Real Red, then heat embossed them with the Clear Stampin’ Emboss powder. Now I have two options for my class attendees to make depending on the greeting they choose.
I was pleased with these cards and can’t wait to share them with my classes. Thanks for the inspiration Angie!
