I hope you had a chance to join me and thousands of others on Sara’s FB page yesterday to make some cards (if not, you can still go watch the video of what her family made)! It was so much fun to watch Sara’s kids make their own creative cards! Get the printout here, and the greetings here – so give it a try yourself! So easy to create lots of fun cards.
I wanted to share some of the cards I made yesterday (#sharesunshine). I chose to use the See a Silhouette DSP with its bright, fun patterns. I chose 3 of the designs and cut all 3 pages using the template. And you can also use whatever stamp set you want to create your own greetings! This first set used a simple card layout, with some current products and some retired baker’s twine, enamel dots. I was a trying to use many of the embellishments that I have leftover.
This next set of cards used more layers, more embellishments, mostly retired…using what I had.
I love both, and have many more that I created and more to make! I’m going to use my own stamped greetings on the remaining cards for thank you and birthday cards. Here’s some of the current products I used to make these cards:
Have a great Memorial Day weekend celebration…although it will be a very different celebration for many of us during this pandemic. We hosted our neighbors for a happy hour last night – they came through our back gate, and sat 6 feet away. But it was nice to see “real” people, not just faces on Zoom, FaceTime and FB. The rest of the weekend will be quiet except for the rain and thunderstorms we are expecting. At least it’s not what some of our relatives are experiencing in Michigan. Stay safe everyone whether it’s from weather and COVID-19.
Thanks for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful weekend!
