Last week I decided to create a variety of cards using the challenge templates I used during the first two weeks of October. I loved the various templates and wanted to see how many different cards I could make using them. So this week I will be showcasing the cards I made.
First up, my original card using Chic ‘ Scratch “Paper & Ink Sketches #7“. I loved the plaid and thought that template would show it off. Since I loved how easy it was to create the card using this template I started looking at my other retired Stampin’ Up! DSP. I pulled out the Back to Black’s feathers and decide it would make a dramatic background. And of course, a black & white card really needs a pop of Real Red to make it stand out!
I stamped the Friendly Wishes stamp set saying using VersaMark ink and then heat embossed it with the new holiday Real Red glitter stampin’ embossing powder (don’t miss getting this – it is awesome!!). I used the Layering Circle framelits (another must have!) for the saying. I can’t wait to give this to someone special!
