Happy Valentine’s Day with lots of treats!

As I said on yesterday’s post…WOW…I had a great crafting weekend! I finished all my Valentine’s Day treat containers for my staff, faculty and co-workers – 32 and counting!

I saw a post early last week on Facebook, I think, about celebrating Valentine’s Day. It suggested rather than focusing on what you did or did not receive, to instead spread the love to others. The person said they carried around a pack of the old fashioned kid’s valentines (the one we used to get as kids to give all our classmates) and hands them out to whoever they see on Valentine’s Day. They said most people were quite surprised and then delighted to receive such a funny little valentine! I took that to heart and today I’m handing out Valentine’s Day treats! Lots of different packages, all from previous and current Stampin’ Up containers that I adapted for Valentine’s Day. I can’t wait to see everyone’s reaction.

Here’s a picture of the the ones I had made when I took the picture, 32 and counting! I’m making a few more at the last minute since I have leftover candy – bought more that I thought I needed; and my hubby and I don’t need sweets lingering around tempting us!

I used several kits, including January’s Paper Pumpkin kit – the little white boxes with gold hearts;  Perfectly Wrapped project kit for the boxes and bags; and the Simply Created A Little Sumthin Sumthin kit. I knew I was saving these kits for something!! It was easy to adapt them for Valentine’s Day using the January’s Paper Pumpkin’s Adoring Arrows stamp set. I also used the Love Notes framelits for the hearts.
