I’m so glad I got out into my garden this morning to weed, pull up some finished vegetable plants and plant a few more things (including catnip for my rescued cats). It was just in time too, since it’s now pouring outside. So glad I postponed doing my card crafting until this afternoon. I finished up a few card with the new Celebrate Sunshine (#sharesunshine – I’ll post them later this week) and created a last minute card for the #FMS437 sketch.
I participated in the #ShareSunshine card making on May 21. I chose my See a Silhouette DSP paper with wonderful abstract patterns and flowers (retiring June 2!). I had a few pieces leftover and decided to cut some strips from one of the flower patterns for my card:
The vibrant pattern had white spaces around the flowers which worked well for my FMS437 card. My card base is Poppy Parade (I’m so glad that color is back as a core color – it is one of my favorite reds!!). I die cut the Whisper White frame with the Stitched Rectangle dies and popped it up with dimensionals, although it doesn’t show in the picture. The greeting is from the new Celebrate Sunshine stamp set coming out on Wednesday.
Here’s the products I used for this card:
Thanks for stopping by today. I’m glad it’s raining since we needed it, but I missed my afternoon walk around our neighborhood with my sweet hubby. I hope you have a crafty week planned, I know I do!

Thanks Linda! I saw this sketch and decided I needed simple, abstract papers for my card. And yes, I love this paper I’m sorry it’s retiring.

Thanks Jacquie, I always look forward to the sketches and try to plan a card around them. Doesn’t always work, but I still keep trying!
