I enjoy traveling and exploring new places with my sweet hubby. And so this card is perfect for him (although we do fly newer aircraft-LOL!). I made it last February, but I’ve been saving it for his 70th (!) birthday coming up tomorrow – A major milestone!!! He doesn’t look 70, at least not so to me! And he never looks at my blog posts so the card will be a surprise for him!
I used the template from SGGWW 2-19-16 challenge to create the card layout, with a little creative license on the layout! The combination of the Lost Lagoon and Basic Black make a stunning combination along with the Going Places designer series paper. I love this combination of colors!
I used the new Large Number framelits to add “70” to the inside, for my sweetie’s milestone birthday! And the “Hello You” thinlits for the happy. I cut a Basic Black one and put the Very Vanilla one over it to give it a shadow effect. I’m sure he’ll love this card when he opens it in the morning.
The Sky is the Limit stamp set was one of the Sale-a-bration sets that is no longer available, but I know I will still use it often!
Here’s the supplies you’ll need to make this card:
