I love the new photographic image “Feels Like Frost” designer series paper from Stampin’ Up! The paper contains 4 of each of 12 double-sided images. These are beautiful winter snow scenes and I can enjoy them without having to experience the cold! Did I mention I love living in the south? I don’t mind the occasional “cold” weather, but you can have the daily snow! The images on the new Feels Like Frost DSP are the focal point of my cards with a simple greeting. That’s all you need with such beautiful paper.
This first card has a Blueberry Bushel cardstock base with a Whisper White layer under the picture. I stamped the greeting using the So Many Stars stamp set in Blueberry Bushel ink. I added a piece of retired ribbon tied in a simple knot on the branch. That is all you need for this card.
Here’s another image and card using the Blueberry Bushel cardstock base. I used the Stitched Shapes dies to cut out the greeting labels.
On this card I added a silver foil paper underneath the image. The greeting tags are cut using the Rectangle Stitched dies.
I switched to a Smoky Slate card base with a Night of Navy layer to enhance the beauty of this image.
This card has a Night of Navy card base with a Whisper White frame that I cut using the Rectangle Stitched dies.
These last two cards use Highland Heather and Whisper White cardstock for another non-traditional Christmas color. The tags are cut using the Petal Label dies.
Thanks for stopping by today to see my “Feels Like Frost” holiday and Christmas cards. Are you ready to get started making a set for yourself? Let me know if I can help you design your cards.
