I finally began creating cards with my new Dandy Garden suite stamps and DSP from the new Mini Catalog. I ordered this suite for the virtual Stampin’ Up! OnStage at home virtual event I attended. It’s been fun creating these cards with this suite.
This card uses a Mossy Meadow card base and one of the 4″ x 6″ cards Dandy Garden Memories and More cards. I trimmed 3/8″ from each short side to fit my card. I used my exacto knife (or use your scissors) to cut a slit on each side of the greeting so I could slip in the 1″ x 5-1/4″ piece of Bumblebee (dry embossed with the Wrapped in Texture folder) underneath it. I toyed with cutting the entire greeting out (like I did on several other of my Dandy Garden cards), but decide this one worked best with just the slits. The bow uses the Mossy Meadow 3/16″ braided linen trim from the suite. Just a few pieces and no stamping!
My second card uses a Misty Moonlight card base and a few pieces of the Dandy Garden DSP with two labels from the Dandy Garden Memories & More card pack. The Bumblebee color label and “Happy Birthday” tag come from the enclosed sticker sheets. Another punched out large dragonfly, this time in the Bumblebee color.
Two easy cards made using just a few new items. Here’s what I used for these cards.
Come along with me tomorrow to see more cards made with the Dandy Garden suite. You’ll want to get these Stampin’ Up! products because of the versatility and ease of making your cards!
Don’t forget Sale-a-Bration is going on and you can earn free DSP or stamp sets by ordering the products to make these card.
Hugs to all of you and happy stamping!
