Have you ever tried to create your own designer paper? With so many beautiful ink colors and Decorative Masks to choose from, it’s easier than you might think! One of my nieces spent the last two weekends crafting with me. She created some beautiful Designer Series Paper using the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks. As many of you know, I am not very good at coloring and shading. But give me a stamp and ink and I can create lots of things.
This is her gorgeous fall card. If you’re wondering about all these beautiful fall colors, she used Real Red, Copper Clay, Mossy Meadow, and Crushed Curry inks.
I was so awed by her color blending using ink and the blending brushes , that I asked her to make a few of the leaf-patterned Designer Series Papers for me. Love, love, love!!
I CASEd this Stampin’ Up! card for one of my fall leaves cards.
This is my birthday card remake for my sister’s birthday.
This is a gift card holder card for our grandson’s birthday mid-November. For once, I am ahead of schedule for my November birthdays!
Have you tried to create your own Designer Series Paper? Share pictures of your creations in the comments. When my niece comes back next weekend to craft, I will learn how to do this technique better. A “novice” creative card maker teaching a “seasoned” card maker. Remember, you’re never too old, or too experienced to learn something new! Stay tuned for updates!
Thanks for stopping by today. If you don’t have a demonstrator, I’d love to be yours. Just hop over to my site to shop. Hugs to all of you, and happy stamping!
