Continuing with Stamps, Ink, and Paper

March 9, 2023 Leave a Comment

Creating beautiful and personalized cards isn’t difficult. I’m continuing with my “Stamps, Ink and Paper” (SIP) theme from yesterday. With just stamps, ink, and paper, you can make stunning designs that are sure to impress.

To start, I turned to the new Stampin’ Up! Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper and its colors, Balmy Blue, So Saffron, Soft Succulent, and Calypso Coral, for inspiration. Next, I selected ink colors to match the DSP, Tuxedo Black Memento, Basic Gray, and Balmy Blue. For my Happy Birthday greeting, I chose the Celebrating You stamp set.

Check out these three SIP cards using this simple yet effective technique. I made my first card with a So Saffron cardbase with the Fancy Flora abstract pattern. With a Soft Succulent rectangle with a strip of Balmy Blue under my greeting tag stamped with Balmy Blue ink on Basic White paper.

On my next card, a Calypso Coral cardbase with a So Saffron piece, frames the Fancy Flora abstract pattern. My greeting, stamped with Tuxedo Black Memento ink, is on a Blushing Bride tag. I layered the greeting on top of Calypso Coral and So Saffron rectangles. Layering makes elements stand out on a card and is easy to do.

On this last card, I used another Fancy Flora abstract on a Balmy Blue cardbase. I stamped directly onto this DSP using Basic Gray ink and the Blessing of Home stamp set. My greeting tag, stamped with Basic Gray ink on a Soft Succulent rectangle, finished the card.

I made all three cards in less than 30 minute with just stamps, ink and paper. The Fancy Flora DSP offers endless possibilities for card making. Check out the full selection of Fancy Flora DSP here.

Thanks for stopping by today. Hugs to all of you, and happy stamping!
