The next few weeks has lots of family birthdays to celebrate so I decided I needed to get busy. What better way to do that than break out the May Paper Pumpkin kit (I’m trying, really, to work through these in a more timely manner!). The kit makes 6 cards and 4 gift bags. I decided to tackle the birthday cards since that’s what I needed. Stampin’ Up! printed the cards on both front and back, so you know what I did…cut them in half! Now I can make 12 cards! But wait, if I cut each side in half and add it to the Island Indigo card base…now I have 24 cards! WHOA…what a brilliant idea if I do say so myself. Here’s my creations and these are just two of the cards my Friday night JB Stamper’s group will be making. It’s such an easy way to extend a simple kit to make a variety of cards with just a few extra supplies!

Those cards are darling!! I haven’t put my kit together yet either … I might chop up the bases and make them go further just like you did. That striped paper was so fun, and I loved the colors they used that month! Thanks for sharing 🙂
