Yesterday I shared two simple Fresh as a Daisy DSP cards I made from the “patchwork” sheet. If you missed that post, you can see it here. I also included suggestions on how to easily cut the patchwork pieces apart.
Today’s card uses my favorite piece from that patchwork sheet, the blue sky with clouds and what I saw as a beach area. So serene and calming to me! This was another quick and simple card where the DSP made the card.
I used Boho Blue card stock for my base. I layered the beautiful DSP onto a Basic White piece with only 1/16″ showing all around. Just enough so that the DSP picture stood out from the card. I found the birds stamp from my retired Sailing Home stamp set. There are several other retired stamp sets that have birds, but this one was handy. I inked the stamp with Tuxedo Black Memento ink, stamped off once, then stamped the birds to get the lighter image. The birthday tag is stamped (Artistically Inked) with Blueberry Bushel ink and layered onto a Boho Blue piece. Several loops of Linen Thread were added behind the tag before putting it onto the card with dimensionals. And done! This is one of my favorites! What do you think?
I hope I’ve inspired you to try the Fresh as a Daisy DSP! I still have all the full sheets from the package that I’ll be using for more cards later this week. Stop by tomorrow to see another one.
Thanks for stopping by today. If you don’t have a demonstrator, I’d love to be yours. Just hop over to my site to shop. Hugs to all of you, and happy stamping!
