OOPS…forgot to publish this one. Several weeks ago I asked if you had thought about your Christmas and Holiday cards. Well it’s now November and the start of the official holiday season. I’ve been immersed in my craft room, designing and making Christmas cards for the last two weeks. I pulled out new and old items and had so many card ideas. I meant to post each card as I went along, but time seemed to slip by and I just kept on making cards! Do you do that – start on one project, and ten projects later you surface?
It’s finally time to share some of my creations. Yesterday I shared the 3″ x 4″ cards on Stampin’ Up!’s notecards (see them here). Today’s cards are the 4″ x 6″ versions I created using the new Stampin’ Up! Night Before Christmas Memories and More card pack. It was so easy to create a set of cards with just a few items!
Here’s the pieces you need to make these cards. The Night Before Christmas Memories and More card pack contains 54 double-sided cards, 6 of each of 9 designs, plus 6 sticker sheets. Six designs are in 3″ x 4″ cards and three are 4″ x 6″ cards.
Add two packs of the Night Before Christmas cards and envelopes (20 cards & envelopes in each) and you can make 36 of the above 6″ x 4″ cards! Although it’s not necessary, I added some bling with a pack of Toile Tidings glitter enamel dots and Red Rhinestones basic jewels.
These are the closeups of each of these six cards. On the Ho Ho Ho card I used my Stitched Rectangle dies to cut the center out. I then reversed the outside frame to the other side andcreated the red striped frame. Of course, I added the Toile Tidings glitter enamel dots for extra bling.
For this card, I just adhered the Holly, Jolly card and added some more of the Toile Tiding glitter enamel dots, this time in the green. That’s it!
Another card using the third 4″ x 6″ card and I added Toile Tidings glitter enamel dots to a few of the star ornaments.
This cards uses one of the 3″ x 4″ cards centered in the middle of the card base. I added Red Rhinestone basics jewels to all of the holly berries for more bling.
To Santa, what great card for a family with children! This was one of the 3″ x 4″ cards and the only addition I made was adding one of the stamp stickers from the sticker sheet on the front.
Another of the 3″ x 4″ card centered on the front of this card with one of the holly leaves from the sticker sheet added to the front corner. Of course, more Red Rhinestone basic jewels for the berries.
So all told, I made 6 of each of these designs for a total of 36 Christmas cards. That still left me with 4 card bases and envelopes to play with the other 3″ x 4″ cards. Stop by tomorrow and I’ll show you the notecard size Christmas cards I made with more of the 3″ x 4″ cards.
What have you created with this set of Memories and More cards? Do you want simple directions for these? Order your set through my website and I’ll send you the simple, step-by-step instructions! Thanks for stopping by and happy stamping those Christmas cards!
